Applications for the new Education Freedom Accounts (EFA) program for the 2021-22 school year are now open

The State of New Hampshire has created this exciting new Education Freedom Accounts program to help expand educational opportunities for New Hampshire children. Beginning with the 2021-22 school year, eligible New Hampshire families earning up to 300% of the poverty line can direct part of their child’s state education funding to pay for tuition at the school of their choice, tutoring, online learning programs, educational supplies, internet connectivity, and other educational expenses.

Children’s Scholarship Fund (CSF) has been authorized by the State of New Hampshire to administer these accounts for the 2021-22 school year.

New families (who are not already receiving a scholarship from CSF) can click here to apply now!

We encourage all interested families to complete the application before Wednesday, September 1st. An EFA application is considered complete once the online application is submitted and all of the supporting documents, attestations, and certifications have been verified by CSF. Please note, while we will continue to accept applications on a rolling basis, because the EFA program is pro-rated, only families whose applications are complete before September 1st will qualify for 100% of the total possible dollar amount for this school year.

Additionally, for the school year 2021-2022, the earliest possible date for the first EFA grant payment will be November 1.

We are thrilled to have the opportunity to offer Education Freedom Accounts!  Visit the Education Freedom Account page for more information.
